Emergency Remedies for Toothache

Do you have a toothache? Until you get to the dentist, you can try these natural remedies that will temporary relieve pain. However, remember that these remedies will not solve the problem and just simply calm the pain for a short time.

Parsley. Crush fresh parsley, u may use the root too, until it becomes a paste, add a little salt and apply this mixture on the aching tooth. As well u may use the compress on the painful side ear that’s disturbing you.

Cloves. Rich in eugenol, a substance which combats bacterial infections, cloves decrease dental pain. Keep the cloves on the painful tooth. It acts as an anesthetic. You can use the essential oil of cloves – apply on the affected tooth without swallowing it. Ginger oil is not recommended for women. Used for too long can become toxic to the body.

Paprika. Mix paprika with water until it becomes a paste. Apply the mixture locally on the painful tooth.

Salt. Rinse your mouth with a mixture prepared from a teaspoon of salt and 5 tablespoons of warm water in which you add a teaspoon of baking soda.

Cucumber. Cut a few slices of cucumber and apply it on the affected tooth. Repeat as often as needed.

Garlic. Another natural remedy is garlic. Clean a clove and presses it onto the tooth. Garlic juice is a natural and effective anesthetic that acts immediately. If you’re used to eat raw garlic, every morning, the teeth will become strong and won’t be so sensitive to cold or sweet foods.

Onion. Onions have the same properties as garlic and are excellent for strengthening teeth. Chew a few slices of onion for three minutes a day and you will avoid pain.

Lemon is an important source of vitamin C, but also a good remedy for teeth affected by improper nutrition. So if you have a toothache, or you want to maintain their health, rinse your mouth with the juice of one lemon in the morning, as soon as you wake up. Bacteria and plaque will be removed and you will have clean teeth and fresh breath.

Oregano oil. Mix a few drops of oregano oil with a few drops of olive oil, soak a little cotton in this mixture then apply it on the teeth.
